Book launch

This is such an exciting time for us - Sami and Yotam. We are barraged by compliments and good wishes about the book that we just continuously smirk and blush.
Sales seem to be great (constantly refreshing Amazon's bestsellers page) but what is more important are the reactions we get from customers and readers.
They all seem to like it - a lot. "I tried 7 recipes this week and they were all incredibly delicious," a customer in Islington told us the other day. She is taking the book to Tuscany with her to give to a friend, an accomplished Italian chef.
And there is much more. Check out these 2 reviews (we couldn't have written better ourselves):
Incredible!

Comments
I couldn't agree more with the reviews - my copy has just arrived from Amazon, I absolutely cannot wait to get home and read it cover to cover!
I've got a feeling this will be a treasure this summer when I have friends and family for dinner.
Hi
Is it possible to get a copy of the book anywhere at the moment or is everywhere waiting for a reprint at the end of June?
Thank you, Rhian
Rhian,
I believe most book stores still have copies. We sell them at the moment at all Ottolenghi branches (signed by Sami and myself) and they are also available again on amazon.co.uk.
Hope you get one!
Yotam
I just wanted to write to say how much I love this cookbook. I have made about 10 recipes already and every one has been amazing (with most books there always seems to be a few duds, but i am yet to find one!). There is such an interesting mix of flavours. My favourite so far is the roasted sweet potato with maple syrup, pecans, coriander etc. I live in Australia and cant wait to go to one of the shops when I visit my brother at the end of the year.
Thanks Emma. It is fantastic to hear about people enjoying and appreciating the result of our work.
Just wanted to let you know your lovely cookbook is making quite a stir on the Chowhound "Home Cooking" discussion board! It narrowly missed out on being chosen for Cookbook of the Month to "Fish Without A Doubt" - mainly down to the fact that it's not available in a US edition yet. Any news on a North American publication date for the folks across the pond??? However despite not being chosen as COTM there are quite a few "breakaways" who are bound and determined to cook their way through through your book - you might enjoy all the comments here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/599767
Best wishes and thanks for the recipes,
Mags
That's fantastic! Thanks to all you out there.
My Mum bought me this last Xmas - an inspired choice!
The recipes that stand out for me (to date) are the aubergine and courgette and Manouri ones. I am only disappointed that in Germany pomegranite seeds are nigh on impossible to find.
Thanks for introducing me to fried Manouri - that has been a revelation. So much so that I experiment with varying similar combinations found in the book.
Really - an inspiring collection of recipes that I am grateful to you (and my Ma) for.
If I make it back to London I will visit and see if you make the food of your recipes as well as I do ;)
I had my German in-laws to stay recently and they loved the food I cooked from it - I would love to get the book for them in German...are there any plans for it to be translated?
Melissa, I am afraid there isn't anything in the pipeline. Sorry.
Australia is desperately wanting to know when the new cookbook is out - and how do we get our hands on it. Also a big thank you for coming downunder - we all have withdrawls. Come back soon!!!!!
Jane, I may be back sooner than you think. The book should be out in the shops next month. Cheers.
My copy of 'Plenty' has just arrived from Amazon.
Although I have only had a quick flick through, your writing is, as always, fabulous and the design - love the spongy cover - and the photography is wonderful.
For the first time ever with a cookbook, I am going to try every single recipe; and once I've done that, I'll probably just do it all over again.
Thank you.
Greg
Greg, I do hope you succeed. But I will be happy even if you cook just half the recipes, and only once.
