Come to Chicago! You have to change planes somewhere.
Wish you were coming to Houston, Texas.
Cheryl
Dear Yotam and Sami,
I tried booking one of your classes at Leith's this morning at 9am sharp and was disappointed you are no longer partnering up with them to do it. Leith's told me there was a flurry of calls at that hour so i'm not alone here.
I was looking forward to learning from the pros and cooking some of your recipes together. It would be a shame not to replace them somewhere else.
Please do let us know if you decide to host them somewhere else - can't wait to sign up.
Thanks!! and good luck with the book tour,
Regina
Any chance of adding Miami on to this trip?? xx
No Seattle? I'm bummed.
Please come to Vancouver, BC! I am making my way through your Plenty cookbook and it's a favourite in my kitchen. Can't wait to check out Jerusalem.
Hi, I attended your talk yesterday in Toronto. It was very exciting being able to listen to you speak about the process of creating Jerusalem. My parents have been to your restaurants many times and always come back raving about them. When I got the cookbook yesterday I couldn't wait to try out one of my favourite dish's, Shakshuka! I made it this morning and it was amazing. I can't wait to try out many more recipes in the book.
תודה רבה
Allie
Hi Ottolenghi,
Please consider coming to Hobart, Tasmania in 2013.
Smolt restaurant in Salamanca first told me about your work. I managed to get to Islington and Nopi in April this year and was amazed.
Come and visit,
Best wishes,
Daniel
I enjoyed your CBC interview with Piya Chattopadhyay this morning. Just put the open kibbeh in the oven and the kitchen smells fabulous. Thanks for three great cookbooks, Jennifer (Myles's Mom)
If only time would allow us to visit more places. maybe a second trip is needed!
@Regina, there was a lot of confusion with last years blog. No classes planned for 2013 yet, but you never know..
@Allie, thank you!
@Daniel, I've heard a lot about tasmainia from one of my staff who's from hobart. one day I hope to make it to there.
@Jennifer, so glad to hear. Sami and I had a fantastic, if short, time in Canada. You can be very proud of Myles!
Wish you were coming to Colorado. My husband bought the cookbook Jerusalem for our anniversary(he thinks I don't know)...which is not for another month. I know it is hidden somewhere. Do you know how hard it is to wait for such a thing?
Loved your interview on NPR. Thanks-Stacy
Here is my review: http://superchefblog.com/2012/11/14/ottolenghi-tamimi-jerusalem/
Wonderful book!
@Stacy, Happy Anniversary! How do you know he has bought it if you don't know where it is hidden?
@Juliette, thanks for the review.
Just made Chicken with cardamon and caramelised onions from Jerusalem. Congratulations on yet another masterpiece. Your cookbooks are unique in that they are my "dirty cookbooks" - and by that I mean they are the ones that come off the shelf at least once a week for use, often more than that, and tend to have fingerprints and stains on pages. I've gifted copies (of Plenty) to my mother and my sister, and for them too your recipes have become a staple. Also found out recently we have a family friend in common on Cape Cod, Massachusetts! Thanks for opening a new culinary world for us all with your unassuming, passionate style!
