The Radikon winery is located in Oslavia, a short distance from the high peaks of the Julian Alps and the Adriatic Sea. Planted on steep slopes, Radikon's 11 hectares of vines are worked according to biodynamic principles with as least human intervention as possible and maximum respect for the soils and nature. When Stanko Radikon inherited his family estate he decided to keep on making long skin contact wines (more frequently called "orange wines") in the old traditional way.

What's included

Radikon – Jakot (50cl) '06

Intense, spicy and complex

The Region: Friuli, Italy

The Grapes: Tocai Friulano

Amazingly complex and profound wine. Aged for three years in large wooden barrels and an additional year in bottle, it is deeply and intensely colored and can age for years.

Radikon – Pinot Grigio '10

Elegant, mineral and complex

The Region: Fruiy, Italy

The grapes: Pinot Grigio

Unlike any Pinot Grigio you ever had. Made in the old traditional way, the grapes are picked at full ripeness, placed in oak barrels for eight days to ferment and macerate on their skins. The then cooper coloured wine is left to age 18 months in big old barrels.
