La Stoppa is an ancient estate. Previously owned by Mr. Ageno, an Italian solicitor and visioner, who was one of the first Italians to date and plant French varietals on Italian soils. Acquired in 1973 by the Pantaleoni family who restored the vineyards and the cellars. Named after its previous owner, the Ageno is produced using an old traditional winemaking method, where the grapes are macerated on their skins for a month to create an orange wine. Rich in colour, tannic and complex.
